  Would you promise to be true And help me understand 'Cause I've been in love before And I found that love was more Than just holdin' hands -the Beatles, 1964 YES! love is definitely more than just holding hands. love is so much more. love is mysterious yet simple, it works in the most unexpected manner at the most unexpected time. how can it be just 2 hands holding one another. however, holding hands may not be 100% love, it's still something unique to have between 2 lovers. i always think that holding hands symbolizes something significant, it's about how 2 different person can actually put their trust in each other,by holding hands and venturing on to the unknown future. there's a connection in it, however different may the 2 parties be, yet that at that moment, hearts and thoughts are linked thru this physical grip. looking forward the same direction heading towards it with much anticipation and assurance that the other party will always be there. i have always find old couples holding hands sweet. they have spent almost half of their lifetime with this person, how much trust do you think they have for each other already? or maybe how used they are to having each other, yet they still need the assurance of one another as they walk towards the end of their paths. somehow they still believe that each of them will be still be there for one another no matter what awaits them in the afterlife. thus they never let go.   whack / 10:06 AM |
