I know I stand in line, until you think you have the time
To spend an evening with me
And if we go someplace to dance, I know that there´s a chance
You won't be leaving with me

And afterwards we drop into a quiet little place
And have a drink or two
And then I go and spoil it all, by saying something stupid
Like: "I love you"

I can see it in your eyes, that you despise the same old lies
You heard the night before
And though it´s just a line to you, for me it´s true
It never seemed so right before

I practice every day to find some clever lines to say
To make the meaning come through
But then I think I´ll wait until the evening gets late
And I´m alone with you

The time is right, your perfume fills my head, the stars get red
Ans oh the night´s so blue
And then I go and spoil it all, by saying something stupid
Like:" I love you"
(" I love you, I love you,....")

saying something stupid and spoiling the night is dumb but if it's truthful deep down from the heart, is it still stupid?

hell!

what's hell like? no one knows? but i am sure there's a different 'hell' for different people, well so where's my hell? it's in ubi industrial park where i am locked down in a mechanical workshop polishing metals, screwing nuts, cutting metals, maintaining machines, etc. anyway it's just sai kang where you help the $800/month china workers to do their extra jobs, though we are being paid a lil higher.

mon-fri, 8am-5pm you slog your ass off in the hot sun, getting permanant black stains in your nails, dirtying your beloved topman jeans, well it sux. i am learning how to enjoy my weekends now, looking forward to the long weekend next week, but before that i only have few hours left befor my sweet sunday is over and then it's MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY!

i finally know how the hungry ghosts feel when it's the last day of the hungry ghost festival.

hello newton,galileo and einstein

Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Since young, i had the chance to be exposed into these 3 main fields of science. Being a curious kid who likes to ask why about almost everything, i was fascinated. I was introduced into the limitless boundary of Science. Even when i was like 8 or 9 years old, i always wonder how fire and electricity came about. Was it created like so many things around us? Was it discovered, and how did the first discovery came about. Coincidence? Two cavemen struck 2 stones together to form a spark and 'TA-DAH'? Or was it really God who came down and taught the 2 men about fire which can be used to cook.

Anyway in secondary school, out of all the 3 sciences, my favourite was always Biology and Chemistry. Well, i slept through Physics because of a noisy class and a really nice teacher. I got a F9 for my Physics prelims. I just thought Physics was really hard, and why am i studying it. What had the 3 laws of Newton motion has anything to do with the world, and why are we studying about things like pressure in a liquid barometer or moments in a fulcrum. I did tell my Physics teacher about why Physics sometimes can be really boring and i began to tell him about my own views of the world and its origins rather than accepting the fact that Physics laws apply to almost everything in the world. He would just listen patiently and encourage me to think further.

Towards the end of sec 4, my Physics teacher told me something one day. That sentence changed my life. He said, "Einstein once said that when you are travelling at the speed of light, time will stop." For a moment, i wasn't able to understand that. But that sentence has certainly attracted me like a magnet into the world of Physics. Then i realize that everything that i used to ask, about fire, electricity and so on are all linked to Physics. Even the BIG BANG which is the cause of us being here right now is Physics. Maybe Physics can even provide us with an answer to why are we here, or is there a higher being above us and what this universe is exactly. I was fascinated, even till now i can't help but be impressed with Einstein. Using only thought experiment, he came up with a conclusion that nothing can travel at the speed of light.

I tried to study hard for my Physics and thank goodness i passed my O's. I began to read up more about it. I want to know everything, i want to know why we are here, i want to know why things happen this way, and that's all in my mind. The more i read, the more i was impressed, and it finally dawned on me that well, Physics is something meant only for geniuses. Hard work alone is not enough to unravel the mysteries of Nature that is locked by mathematical formulas, equations and laws. That's when i stopped venturing, but well i still read up once in awhile about it.

Having a diploma in Biomedical Engineering allows me to learn Biology in-depth. I still like Biology after secondary school, but after the diploma, things changed. Biology is a chore, the subject is like a human body, it can broken down into so many parts and that parts could have been made up of so many different parts and each part is unique and detailed. The reason why there's so many different specializations in medicine. But i love the engineering part in it. I love the circuitry and phenomenas happening in a circuit which eventually leads to a discovery of a technology. Well, it's actually Physics again. So, it's like hello Physics, you have just crashed into my life once again, leaving me with a million whys and leaving me wondering, taunting me to catch you. But still, i feel that Physics is not someone my caliber can handle, i am not good in Maths either.

Like Immanuel Kant, 2 things that fascinates me, the starry heavens above me and the moral laws within me. Physics and Philosophy. Both being so different yet answering to the same question at the end of their journey. They uses different approaches but they can solve the greatest question everyone has. Maybe someone with a lil' passion and hard work can do philosophy instead. I can still embark on a journey to that find a solution to that question. Well that's when i decided maybe i should do philosophy in Uni. But then an invitation to NTU came, it was an open house invitation to the courses including Physics. Well being the bo liao me, i went to NTU to have a look. I was surprised when they have many poly grads as students over there, i went on a tour around the school, and well my passion for Physics has just been ignited again.

I was at a cross road. I had no idea where should i go. I applied for Physics in NTU and Arts and Social Sciences in NUS leaving it to heaven. But i thought it through, and well if i do Arts i can't do Physics but if i do Physics, i can always read up about the Arts anytime. In terms of practicality, Physics would be a better choice. I can always continue Philosophy as long as i don't stop asking why. Well, i have decided anyway.

Physics. Out of all the 3 main Sciences, it's the most fundamental one. It explains the creation of Everything. Everything around us is bound to some Physics laws. Mathematics is the language Nature uses to express itself and Physics is the decoder for it. I am about to embark on this fascinating and tough journey to discover the truth, hopefully i can at least learn something to the ultimate question.

Hello Newton, Galileo and Einstein.

FUCK YOU NK!

what's happening to the world now?

imagine you are a fisherman living happily near the coast of Nihon....you are out fishing one day hoping that it will be your lucky day to catch as many fishes as possible.maybe you can buy something nice for your kids or treat your family to a big meal.

suddenly...something alien just flew over you...it's not like any planes you have ever seen before, it's long and it's burning at the rear......and then it began to descend and next thing you know......BOOM! it fell into the very same sea you are fishing in......WHAT THE FUCK! yah that would be most people's reaction.so what the fuck is going on, bloody launching a so called 'satellite' into airspace claiming that it's meant for the orbit instead yet it fell just next to a neighboring country. don't bullshit the world lar.....for goodness sake....the whole world knows how 'advanced' your technology is...how can you ever have a satellite.......i don't see how ping pong+agriculture+nuclear+propaganda+communism can gives you space tech. that's dumb.

well for Nihon......they saw something foreign flying over....and fuck of course they will be scared...i mean what the fuck is this....after experiencing ordeals like the atomic bombings...and now bullshit from NK........of course they want to shoot it down, but wait....some smart ass 4 eyed drunken leader began rattling,'i would see this as an act of war if you shoot it down.' omg!for goodness sake.....your so called space toy is entering my territory terrorizing and threatening the lives of my citizens yet i can't shoot it down.

even in primary schools, your classmate/partner besides you vandalizes your table, and you would have a right to do something about it. whoa! you can clearly notice the level of intelligence in that no man's land. seriously...who are you bullshitting? why would you launch a 'satellite' so secretly and you could face it towards the pacific ocean instead of the country beside you.... any mistake in calculation would have hit and crash the homes of many. of could you have miscalculate it which leads to landing it in the sea........whoa!

anyway the world is already in trouble because of the economic and now some shitty problems from an uncivilized country is gonna mess thing up even worst. i feel bad for obama....i hope he can really do something about it.

VS

oh yah superman please screw the drunken man who bullshits thru a bloody radio.

It's not about difficulty, it's about manipulating time to run in favor of you rather than against you.

look at the difference in civilizations and you will know.

back from bintan!

ok...i am freaking tired, tanned yet relaxed and happy about my trip back. bintan was fun definitely.....well it could be even better if zheng wei and ellis were to come as well. but hey! i must say we were damn lucky to get such a good resort with great people in it.....a personal pool facing the south china sea, a personal buggy to drive around and of course the great company! thank you so much to anyone who has made it possible.

well......4 days and 4 nights of movies, swimming, slacking, smoking, doing nothing, talking cock.....i really miss this kind of life right after i step foot on s'pore. we have been sleeping at like 5am and waking up at like 10am and yet we can do this everyday without feeling tired when in bintan.....the unexplainable phenomenon of having a holiday eh....while you can sleep more than 8hrs a day yet still feel tired in school, how strange?HAHAHA!

a holiday is what i need. a rejuvenating experience after all the crap load in poly. a memorable experience before i enter NS, and a getaway from my monotonous and repetitive life at the moment. thank you. more hols please!

i just realised something throughout the trip.....s'poe govt should not lower down the price of their ciggies now that they have increased it......being in bintan allows me to do nothing and smoke like crazy......from 6 sticks a day to like 20 over sticks a day......imagine sg govt decided to lower down the price....well.....more bills at the hospitals then. well done, singapore for such an irreversible yet effective action.....hahaha these scholars must be freakin smart...could they have predicted these as well? lol

well time for me to get my lazy bum off and work....now that i have stop giving tuitions(thank god for the kids).......i should get some serious work man....sometimes i just think that i don't have the patience with kids......i get so frustrated over it...haiz....

i shall spend just just just just just a few more days lazing around, watching dvds, doing nothing and hoping my parents can win the lottery. HAHAHA

i miss bintan and company!
