 story of man..... long long ago....something wonderful, strong yet full of faults was created into this world. symbolizing the masculine and dominant character of a ruler....MAN was brought into this world.......but no matter how tenacious and strong this dominator was, as if destined, what he who truly wants will never get what he wants. man is strong and unyielding, he has fight for centuries,millennium and even eons, he has always been victorious on the battlefield allowing him to grow in terms of mentality,physique and even possession. but every man eventually has something that he wants most, be it love,land or treasure, he can never reach it despite how determined he is... experiencing countless of victories, he has never tasted failure and defeat. unfortunately his only defeat turns out to be his greatest defeat, unable to get what he truly wants, man's faults starts surfacing...desperation, fear of losing again, man has fallen. losing his will and hunger to fight and conquer again, man is afraid and no one but himself can save himself. his destined path has now split up into a crossroad. 1) the road to escape from the reality, a comfort zone for him to rest and never to fight again as a result live a condemned life. 2) the road to pick himself up and fight again, the road maybe tough and full of unknowns, and no certainty to success. which path will he choose? once again, the faults of man resurfaced. unable to accept this loss for such a domineering victor , or should i say unable to admit his loss, he has to prove that such a loss occurred by chance and was not due to his own faults. he grows stronger and starts adapting to become better. he starts evolving, from his own reflection and improves each time he reflects back. he fights and wins and rules again. his cycle of victory just repeats and repeats. in the end, man has dominated everything, everything except for one thing...the thing he truly wants. man kept on fighting believing that one day he will eventually reach it and that becomes his motivation to work even harder. but as destined, he can have the whole world but still never able to attain what he truly wants, as man just continues to fight on unknowingly. -看到你能夠這麼開心﹐真是太好了 whack / 11:46 PM Thursday, March 27, 2008
cruise anyone? 12 bucks is all you need for a cruise trip!yes,nothing wrong with my previous sentence,it's a freaking CRUISE trip.....lol and it's sun-thurs weekly but you could be thinking,what kind of deal is that?it's kind of unbelievable right!well 12bucks but no cabin, so first....you'll be send off from harbourfront to some ulu ulu 'middle of nowhere' international water through a small ferry in the evening and then you enter the cruise and eat your dinner which is well a buffet......a buffet that consists of 3 kinds of dishes and rice or porridge with those home made salted veg kind of dishes and the freshest thing is the packet milk LOL!!!!!!!!!! anyway after your dinner you can either do nothing, gamble or visit the bar on the cruise and first timers can even get a free jug of beer,how cool is that for only 12bucks! liquor's cheap,cigarette's cheap and a 'great' array of food for both dinner and breakfast buffet and the earliest ferry to get you back home comes at 6am...so this is like a relax chilling out place for anyone to go.....no matter who you are or what your purpose..it's certainly worth the price...come to think of it.....12bucks ain't a big price afterall LOL!     -不知道今天的你过得好不好 whack / 12:50 PM Wednesday, March 19, 2008
只要你能愉快 as expected this time or maybe every time.....my love life just kinda sux...i wouldn't say my life sux but my love life definitely sux.....it's like i have this problem with relationships and i can't seem to know it...always having a crush on some people yet didn't really do anything about it...and sometimes just a little set back and i'll gave up this game....i never give up in any games except for the game of love i guess.... just when i thought i am ready to be determined to chase her all the way.....to really give it my best shot before i do anything to retreat.....it just happened........i can no longer see it....the miracle that i have been waiting just drift further apart from me and 'pop' disappeared......just when i decided that she's the one that i really like and would willing to do so much.......it just happened......the tiny speck of light shining through my dark passage has just started diminishing and as if being sucked right into a black hole......my passage is now dark again......... i guess it's only a matter of time something like that happens,and well even if i might well have expected it,i just refused to think about it...but now i can only continue to be a good friend by your side,wishing you all the best and of course being a friend that will be there for you at all times...well look at the bright side...at least i am still close by you by being your good friend....but i afraid that's the closest i can ever be..........it's always 只要你能愉快 -你寧願做她一輩子的好朋友或做她一次的男朋友? whack / 12:18 PM Sunday, March 16, 2008
non-existence of a miracle
according to the dictionary,this is what it means generally ,well everyone wants a miracle.....and each miracle differs with each individual.some people may want a miracle like striking lottery,or maybe a big house or maybe becoming the best of something........i was wondering if a miracle really exists,some people wait silently for such a long time only to find out that it's still a myth afterall while others managed to wait for it to happen.... if while you were waiting for such a miracle to happen and then you realized the impossibility of it,do you clench your fist,grit your teeth and continue to have faith in it or you do start to give up.....and even if you succeed....is it a miracle afterall or is it due to one's effort.....so do miracles exist........well i wouldn't know but i do know that my miracle doesn't exist,this amazing or wonderful occurrence that i hope for to happen may just be a miracle that doesn't exist...... but well if miracles don't work,i will work instead of wait,if working hard gives you nothing in the end,i will pray for it,if praying means nothing,i will pray,work and wait for...i don't want to give up! -no matter what is it.....it's always 只要你能愉快 whack / 10:22 AM Wednesday, March 12, 2008
greek masterspieces from the LOURVE! i saw,i went and i conquered!i finally saw the ancient greek masterpieces flown in from the GREAT LOURVE DU MUSEUM in paris! lolx seeing those sculptures is like going back to the ancient period,i mean i am not exaggerating, going back in a sense that it makes you feel what is it like to be surrounded with so many artifacts from that period and you will start asking yourself things like hmmmm how is it to live like them and why do they have to live like that and what kind of role would i play if i am back in that ancient period.....................it's like a philosophy, you tend to think about the way of living and compare it with the period you are living in and from there learn something about it......... haha only justine and i went for the exhibition and lucky justine having free admission since it was some women's day or something like that.......justine,must thank me! hahahah anyway saw lots of things but regretted not having to borrow a camera from others as the photos quality of my cam sucks and i couldn't load it into the comp anyway there are like 4 main sections starting from like the beginning of athens,the education system and working class in athens,the spirit of competition from athens which evolves into the current olympics and lastly the impact of religion in athens,actually my description might not be so accurate hahaha i am trying to remember what i saw there lolx! anyway the religion in athens has the greatest impact on me and people in athens are just so superstitious and it creates such a huge impact in their daily lives,and yes we saw sculptures Eros(cupid),Ares(god of war),Aphrodite(god of love and beauty) and even Apollo(dragon slayer) lolx greek philosophy and mythology is just fantastic!highly recommended,go national museum and have a look at the greek gods before they start to leave this 16th march haha! -sometimes even when there's a wall in front of you,it's a clear dead end,you would still run forward and try breaking the wall down even if you already know you might injured yourself, because deep down there is still a slight hope in you that you might just break open the wall and walk down the path with her whack / 12:59 AM Saturday, March 08, 2008
overnight basketball challenge it started out with a call......on friday morning,i was still sleeping,ryan from karate called if i was playing tonight for this basketball overnight challenge organised by tp sports club,since i was still sleeping i was quite frustrated and said like ah nonono,then went back to sleep.after i wake up i checked with hua sheng and then he said something like eh your name inside,wah i was more bek chek!!!!why is my name inside when i didn't even sign up,anyway i went to tp to meet jingmin for lunch first as they hua sheng and zhongli kept persuading me to join,and in the end i joined since we joined under the name of karate, our registration fee's free but it's like only 5bucks a team and then what surprises me later on was the GOODIE BAG!hahaha we got a goodie bag each containing a towel,a wristband and a fila originally 38bucks t-shirt LOLX!it's freaking worth it lar hahahah anyway we play the round robin with teams in our division.....there was like team akido,team track and field and even team schoolteam(since they are made up of bball school teams)LOLX! haha anyway we win some but lose some so we thought we won't be playing in the finals,so we gladly proceed on to the night bbq,YES there's a night BBQ TOO!hahaha but quite budget lar,they give you food like patties and you tiao to bbq lolx.....but for $5 /team,it's super worth it lolx.....anyway there's a 1v1 and 3 point shootout challenge later on,and yes as expected i lost in the 1v1 challenge HAHAHA and my teammate also lost in the 3point shootout so we were like yeah finally getting done with it,and was about to leave when the organiser said all teams have to play for the finals.......it turned out that the round robin matches was to filter the good from the weak,then the weak can play with themselves and the good play with themselves, and yah lar of course we are in the weaker division hahah something like champion's league and fa cup hahaha but luckily we managed to get second place in the weaker division and well our prize was a 100bucks nike voucher which we split to 20bucks for our team hahaha sadly for the weaker teams in the better division,they are stronger than us,but they are not that good in the better division and thus,they lost and didn't get anything,they could have act noobish and then K everyone in the weaker division haha well glad that i came man.......slogging my life out playing bball from 9pm to 6am in exchange for wristband,t-shirt,towel,bbq and $20nike voucher LOLX!!!!!!!! -hope that your 冷戰 is over and that you have no problems handling your assignment!=) whack / 11:00 PM Monday, March 03, 2008

yay!exams over! as expected yesterday at 1629,the feeling of being 1 more min to your freedom,to your hols and to 1 year before next exams is SHIOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!hahaha i am really glad it's over.....it will be next year around this time that we will be having exams again hahahaa,so i have to look forward to jobs and major project lolx! watched L change the world after our papers haha,not bad man,it's like they previously set 23 days left for L,but they added another storyline to it and luckily it's not a anyhow think of storyline,it's quite interesting in fact,and L have to solve this case being streetwise and using some social skills or should i say babysitting skills;things that he lacked......lolx so well,it's recommended!actually some Japanese was infront of us,but i think they would have preferred to watch in Japan bah,because some dialouge was in english and french,YES FRENCH,L speaks fluent french hahahahaa and during these dialouge,there's only english and chinese subtitles,haha it's like alittle frustrating to read Japanese subtitles in my case,especially when the subtitles are flashing so fast haha went to K afterwhile,shiok man after exams K到痛快﹗hahaha and many thanks to swee lee,my teacher who taught me a little about singing hahaha, i will train hard so that i can sing better with you when are back the next time:) (that message was not meant for swee lee) anyway i can't wait to K again:) -hope you have a safe trip and take care:) whack / 2:42 AM |
