 GTL!!!(GREAT TUTOR LAURENT) another new job this week! it's like i am getting all sorts of jobs now, haha 3 different jobs in 2 weeks, tourguide, tele-surveyor and now TUTOR!(moreover all starts with a 'T') getting a tuition job is like so random and surprising, i was just talking to justin and then his sister was like asking me some bio questions. after teaching her, i just asked jokingly, hah so would you like tuition and then "TADAH!" i became her tutor starting from thurs=) being a tutor is seriously way different from other jobs. i mean when you work part time in like restaurants, you only care about how long you work or maybe what's your pay like after working so much. i doubt part timers will really have this drive to deliver the best service or attitude, you just work for the money. but when you are working as a tutor, there's a responsibility of imparting the best to your student. i guess you are more motivated to teach not just academically but in all other aspects. i think having a student that you are responsible of really gives me the drive to ensure that she really learns. i find it a very meaningful job, being able to create an impact on someone's life. afterall, how she fares in her exams will determine what kind of path she will take in the future, therefore, you actually play quite a major role in someone's life when you are teaching. i am just so motivated now. i have been reading my past bio and chem stuffs, haha i aim to be GTL( great tutorlaurent) hahah!! -why don't you do your best?=) -i will continue to be patient,trust me=) whack / 3:35 AM |
