 the amazing race! over 4 continents and 10 countries.....the race around the world is indeed amazing!sadly we have come to an end of the amazing race 12....it's been a long time since i hooked on to this show....i remember being a fan of this show when it just begun it's first few seasons when i was in sec 4.....i still remember how fascinated i was by the show and were constantly talking about it but after a few seasons,my enthusiasm started to wear off and i didn't watch any amazing race until this current season..... i think it started few weeks back when i had nothing to do and since it's the first episode for this season, why not just watch it i thought....and after that very 1st episode.....it all came back! my passion,my enthusiasm and simply my interest came rushing back to me.......i was once again fascinated by the creation of this game......a race around the world with various tasks and obstacles......a race that neither guarantee the fittest to win nor the smartest to win....it's a race about teamwork,bonding,being street-wise and of course physically and mentally fit for any situation and task given in the race.....after the first episode, i was once again hooked and i was even more impressed by Ronald & Christina.....an asian american father and daughter team.they did not do very well in the first few legs but you can notice a steady rise in their pace and rankings as the game moves on...... maybe i was attracted to them at first by their asian identity(well i am actually very proud of my asian heritage) but as i watch their performance.....i just got more and more impressed and i really like this team alot,more than any other team in the whole amazing race season 1-12 haha way to go man! and so....we have finally came to an end for this season of the race....i will seriously miss this season alot,it just bothers me when i know that i am not able to watch this great season anymore cause this season is simply the BEST! especially with Ron and Chris around.....i will miss the feeling of having to get home before the show every wed and the adrenaline i had even when i was just watching the show.....Ron and Chris was in the FINAL 3!and they have been leading throughout the final leg but stumbled upon the road block which give TK and Rachel a few minutes lead which eventually leads to their victory.....it was really very close.....Chris was so close in solving the puzzle,but her doubt on whether a man is an animal or not prevented her from solving it and instead delaying it giving TK and Rachel,but damn they were just soooo close!but they were still happy the fact that they are able to complete this race with each other having to become a better family member to each other,strengthening their bonds and of course sharing this great experience with each other...quoted from Ron "although i didn't get to finish with 1st place but i know i came in with 1st place in my daughter's heart" and from Chris "the thing that kept me going was to know that my dad is receiving me at the top" when she struggles to climb a glacier wall......i think that's very touching and amazing....seriously we can learn so many things in the amazing race.....we can learn more about the world,traveling,lifestyles and cultures of different people and also moral values and leadership qualities found in some teams......the amazing race rawks...it's one of the best show around i will be looking for season 13 although i am pretty convinced this is the best one....haha amazing race is great, it's and AMAZING race after all=)  here's a pic on this great team that i love hahah RONALD & CHRISTINA!:) whack / 8:18 AM |
