 phantom of the opera wooo...finally went to watch phantom of the opera last night with wenda!!!!omg it was great,superb and simply amazing....words can't describe the intensity and magical performance of it....i really love it!!!!bought the cat. C tix....so we were like sitting at circle 3 and the view is not bad afterall....it has a clear overview of the whole performance......man! it was sure intensifying...it was my first time watching a REAL theatrical performance and i have never thought that it would be sooooo impressive!!!i am very hounoured to have watch the last show of theirs in s'pore for this season.....and yeah they sure put up a good show man! Phantom---one of the most intensifying character i must said.....his voices and songs truly haunts your mind even now.....his anguish and agony could be felt.....it can make you tremble....i like the part where he felt betrayed after seeing christine and raoul together.... I gave you my music . . . made your song take wing . . .
and now, how you've repaid me: denied me and betrayed me . . . He was bound to love you when he heard you sing . . . Christine ... Christine ... my favourite part....it deserves our sympathy and yet it truly shows how much of a pain and anger the phantom is in! Christine---great voice....even from different part of the stage....her powerful voice make it as if she's everywhere......but probably she never did love the phantom afterall.....she just felt fear for him at the start and when at the end...she knows him not as a scary person but as a pitiful soul,a real angel of music that has been banished and betrayed countlessly and i guess that's why she kisses and accepts him....more like a love for a friend, a teacher.... Raoul---not as strong as the previous 2 characters in terms of voice and performance...instead his voice was more gentle and soothing....a true gentlemen,a noblemen full of pride for himself and respect for others......it was nice seeing that he ended up with Christine,but at the same time...sad to see that after Christine died,he is left in this world lonely only to bid on items in the opera house....allowing him to live once more in his memories.... i can finally understand why wenda would want to watch it for the second time....if i ahve the money i would sure do!!!!!!!more than gladly to watch it again....seriously it rawks.....i am sooo in love with phantom of the opera!!!!!!!!!!ja! whack / 7:46 AM |
